How we make money

Sanara Health is an independent health information service. Reading anything here is free, and we don't sell medicines ourselves. The site is funded by clearly labelled partner links.

Partner links, marked with *

When we link to a treatment at a partner pharmacy — always an online pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) — the link is marked with an asterisk (*). If you click a partner link and complete an order after the pharmacy's own consultation, we may receive a commission. You pay exactly the same price as going to the pharmacy directly. We name each partner pharmacy on this page once the partnership is formally approved.

In line with UK ASA/CAP guidance, partner links are disclosed before you click and userel="nofollow sponsored noopener noreferrer" so search engines treat them as paid links.

Our editorial rules

  • We list the treatment approaches available for a condition — never just the options that pay more.
  • Commission never changes how we describe, rank or order treatments.
  • Any price ranges shown are indicative market ranges, not quotes — the clinic confirms the exact price before you pay.
  • We never copy the pharmacy's content or use its imagery without authorisation from its affiliate programme.
  • Editorial citations (NHS, MHRA, gov.uk) are never paid links and never carry the * marker.

What we are — and aren't

We are not a pharmacy, clinic or prescriber, and nothing on this site is medical advice or a substitute for a consultation with a qualified clinician. All prescribing decisions, dispensing and aftercare happen at the partner pharmacy, which is regulated by the GPhC and uses CQC-regulated prescribers. If you're unsure whether a treatment is right for you, speak to your GP or pharmacist.

Common questions

Does Sanara Health use affiliate links?

Yes. Some outbound links — always marked with * — are partner links to UK-registered online pharmacies. If you click one and complete an action, we may receive commission at no extra cost to you.

Do partner links change the price I pay?

No. You pay exactly the same price as visiting the pharmacy directly. Commission is paid by the pharmacy out of its own margin.

When do you actually earn a commission?

Only when an order is completed and approved by the pharmacy’s own clinicians. We earn nothing on orders that are cancelled, returned, declined at clinical review, or otherwise not fulfilled — so we have no reason to push a treatment that isn’t right for you.

Does commission affect what you write?

No. We describe treatments factually, list the same options the pharmacy offers, and never order or rate treatments by commission.

Which pharmacies do you work with?

We only link to online pharmacies registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) that use CQC-regulated prescribers. We name each partner on this page once the partnership is formally approved.

Is Sanara Health a pharmacy or clinic?

No. Sanara Health is an independent information service. All consultations, prescribing decisions and dispensing happen at the pharmacy, which is registered with the GPhC and uses CQC-regulated prescribers.
